The Mean Fiddler - formerly LA2 - is an endlessly popular West End venue. A visit here nearly always entails standing in epic lines which have been known to stretch down Tottenham Court Road and curl into Oxford Street. But it's worth it. This place hosts a wealth of performers from singer songwriter, Ani DiFranco, to the kitsch Take That tribute band, as well as top international DJs. And if you hanker for the days when music had a tune, and George Michael had designer stubble, then don't miss the superfly 70s and 80s revival of all revival nights, Atomic, on a Saturday.
