Modhubon is a small Indian restaurant, conveniently located on the much-trodden route between Notting Hill Gate tube station and Portobello Market. The deco is Indian, although the owner has definitely veered away from some of the more colourful styles let loose in many restaurants serving food from the subcontinent. The background tunes are also of Indian origin, and the tables and chairs are comfortable and clean. The menu has all the usual suspects, with a particularly large tandoori section. During the day, basic curry dishes are available and there is an all day tandoori buffet too. Staff are polite and attentive.
