The big and noisy We Will Rock You is a surprisingly popular musical, which is basically a platform for a wide selection of Queen songs that are uniquely and interestingly interpreted and staged masterfully with brilliantly performing singers and dancers. At the same time a full-blown musical is not just a compilation. It is an interesting piece of theatre that vacillates between the brilliant and the inane, between terrific and terrible. With plenty of lyric references throughout and a superb live band thrashing out the best of Queen, this is an energetic and high-tech show, which will make anyone who knows the music of the rock legend rushing to snap up a ticket to this theatrical extravaganza. This is an unignorable production for a good night out.
