It seems quite hard to find bookshops specialising in Caribbean and African writing, but New Beacon has a wide selection of books of this genre. Novels, poetry, and non-fiction, including history and politics, are all well represented. Educational material is also available, and it's a good place to visit if you want to learn more about African/Caribbean roots.
