This beautiful 1920s art deco spa is an old fashioned oasis of calm. Unlike most of London's new spas, there are no trendy touches, in fact, most of the period details - green and white tiles, high ceilings and original fixtures - have been left untouched. Try the Moroccan glove full body scrub - your skin will be as soft as a baby's after a session on the marble slab tables. The usual range of beauty and body treatments are available and are generally better value for money than most spas. Relax and cleanse your body of its impurities in the Turkish saunas and Russian steam rooms. There's also a cold plunge pool, spa bath and sauna, swimming pool, showers (with all-over hoses) and a large relaxation area. The day spa fee includes unlimited access to these facilities, but treatments are extra. It's all absolute bliss. The spa has special hours for women only, men only and mixed clientele, so call to ask for details.
