Welcome to the Polish Community Centre, which houses a book shop, theatre, cafe, restaurant, library, and art gallery. The centre serves the Polish community, and also promotes access to Poland's culture - the theatre showcases both in-house productions and some straight from the home country. Polish lessons are also available. The restaurant is spacious and quiet and bilingual waitresses serve a full range of traditional dishes, all of which have a pleasingly home-made feel about them. The servings, and the nature of Polish cuisine, are such that you are unlikely to leave hungry. Downstairs, the cafe is more informal, and lends itself to whiling away an hour or two over tea and cake.
