The popular Prince Bonaparte follows the mould set by many of its local pub counterparts in the Notting Hill area. It serves a good pint of beer, a decent glass of wine and attracts families and trendy locals alike with its honest home-cooked pub grub. A warm burgundy red runs through the pub and restaurant as a recurring theme that offsets the wooden furnishing and flooring and gives this big pub a cosy, warm feel. On summer evenings, crowds spill out and jam the pavement, which is usually already colonized by the clientele's scooters and motorbikes. Food-wise, The Prince Bonaparte holds no great surprises: it's good, simple fare as you might expect from one of a new breed of modern pubs.
