The Purple Turtle certainly has a vibrant atmosphere. The interior itself is interesting with lots of posters, murals (including a naked Frank Zappa) and TV screens showing a variety of things. There is music, courtesy of the jukebox, which changes its CDs weekly to suit customer demand. The eclectic clientele make a refreshing alternative to the standard trendy set of Islington, making this a good place to chill out after a day's work.
