Having solved the age-old dilemma of coping with a small restaurant by expanding onto the pavement, outdoor dining can be enjoyed whatever the season at this Italian restaurant. Riccardo's has re-invented itself continuously to suit modern tastes in both cuisine and decor, and its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere goes a long way to securing repeat business - many of the diners are regular customers. Give yourself ample time to eat at Riccardo's: the menu is extensive and you may be some time in choosing your meal. Most dishes are smallish and reasonably priced - the best way to eat here is to take advantage of the extensive menu and order two or three of the smaller dishes rather than one large meal. The food teams up beautifully with the interesting selection of Italian wines.
