Founded in 1939, this is the place our very own head of state, Queen Elizabeth, gets her underwear. Rigby and Peller have held the Royal Warrant since 1960, a fact attested to by the large photos of HM that adorn the dressing room walls. As well as the Royal family, their clientele also includes stars of stage and screen, and media and television personalities from across the globe - all of whom are presumably attracted by the quality of the made-to-measure corsetry and innovative styling of this opulent Mayfair boutique. A doorman will greet you courteously on arrival, and will even mind your pooch whilst you browse their extensive collection of posh frillies, which, besides their own range, includes lingerie, swimwear and seductive nightwear from La Perla and Gottex.
