Cheap and cheerful, but still clean and modern with en suit showers and toilet facilities in each room, Rotherhithe Youth Hostels main attraction is its convenient location. Situated on a busy road, just a stone's throw from the Thames, it's an ideal base from which to explore the Tower of London, the Docklands, Canary Wharf, the Greenwich Meridian, the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory Greenwich. The Jubilee Line underground extension has made this area much more accessible, but you might prefer to take a relaxing and informative river cruise instead.
