Set amid a seedy Soho street, bordering the clothes market that spills over from Berwick Street and a plethora of sex shops, Rupert Street is one of the trendiest gay bars in the district. Immaculately decorated in pastel hues of lilac, lemon and mint with aluminium flooring and large glass windows, the capacious bar belongs to the modern design mould. Clientele varies night to night but is of the well-dressed brand, and the bar plays a stream of R&B tunes to keep the fashion-conscious crowd pleased. Food is served all day.
