Saigon is a sophisticated and central Vietnamese restaurant, serving a wonderful and wide selection of delectable specialities in the heart of Soho, making it a fantastically spicy eating spot before immersing yourself in the equally spicy selection of surrounding nightlife. Decorated in original, albeit a little dated, colonial cool, you can settle into the wicker chairs amid sweeping palm leaves and a soothing atmosphere. Start with the familiar Pho (noodle broth soup) or spring rolls before moving on to a flavoursome feast of Thit Lon Ko (pork simmered in the pot with lemongrass, fish sauce, black peppercorns and a dash of chilli) and Green Papaya Salad. More hearty appetites might like to opt for the table barbecue, and roll succulent slices of meat into rice wrappers for the ultimate Vietnamese experience.
