Opened in 1977 by a Pakistani family, Salloos serves authentic Pakistani and North-Indian cuisine. The entrance opens into the restaurant's bar area and a staircase leads you to the main dining room on the first floor. An off-white-and-red colour scheme, crisp linens, carefully chosen paintings, and dried floral arrangements all make for a pleasant, comfortable ambience. The cooking is mainly meat-based, and strongly spiced. Orders can sometimes takeup to 30 minutes, but the food is well worth the wait! The Charcoal Tandoori Grill Course, and curries, such as Chicken Shahi Kofta and Lamb Palak Gosht, come highly recommended. The restaurant also caters for private gatherings of up to 60 people.
