This friendly Eritrean restaurant makes for an unusual repast. Small, but charmingly decorated like a rustic bistro, Selam serves injera bread as your (edible) plate, so tear off each piquant mouthful as if you were eating a burrito. The stew dishes such as derho, made with eggs and chicken legs, are great but spicy, so youll have to be up for something a bit different to have a great culinary experience here. To refresh your palate, be sure to try some miyes wine, a traditional honey wine, and Selams special jebena coffee.
