The Sheene Mill Restaurant is housed in a 17th century mill on the banks of the River Mel. This supreme property is owned by Chef Steven Saunders and his wife Sally, and the eatery has become a hotspot for both tourists and diners alike (the mill is also a hotel). Saunders seems to have built himself an iron clad reputation as a chef and serves contemporary cuisine. A few highlights from the main menu are Breast of Crispy Duck, Mozarella Grilled Lobster, Wild Mushrooms, and Artichoke Pie. It is advisable to visit Sheene Mill with a partner since the location makes for a quick getaway rather than just a meal.
