If this is not enough, rumor has it that this place is haunted by a young worker, who fell through the roof at the turn of the century. His spirit is said to haunt the Level 1 balcony at night. The Shepherd's Bush Empire, now owned by the McKenzie Group Limited, opened on 17th August 1903. This place has been the chosen venue for many high profile events including MTV's Five Night Stand, the UK DJ Championships and Comic Relief.
