Silver Moon Bookshop is a stockist of literature by and for women. This is neither an exclusively lesbian or hard-core feminist bookshop, although fiction for both groups is in plentiful supply (Silver Moon publish their own lesbian fiction novels). Most of the books are everyday fiction and non-fiction that simply appeal more to women, like the many Bridget Jonesy-type books that have been so popular lately. There are plenty of self-help books too. The medium-sized store is well laid out, with regularly changing displays and friendly staff. Men are welcome.
