St Moritz, a chalet experience in London, is like the fondue places you might enjoy up in the Swiss mountains. Not surprisingly, perhaps, the place is more popular in winter, when its cosiness comes into its own. If you require nothing less than mountainous plates of Swiss cuisine – fondue, spaetzel, dumplings and loads of cheese – then this is the place for you. The selection of fondues ranges from cheese, to cheese with a hint of curry, to a selection of sauces in which to dip strips or cubes of beef. And not forgetting the chocolate fondue, of course. But there's an a la carte menu as well, which goes a long way towards proving that there is Swiss culinary life beyond fondue, especially in the exceptional range of desserts.
