Now better known for its ice-hockey team The Chiefs, the Streatham Ice Arena used to be known for hosting sixties rock concerts. Cream once did a live gig here, as did The Kinks on the night 'You Really Got Me' hit No.1 in the UK. These days it's all about the skating, and the ice rink has become popular with teenagers and ice-hockey players. If you'd like to polish your technique first though, tuition is available for groups and individuals. There is also a six week 'fun-skate' course and toddlers classes for the real beginners.
