The Sun in Splendour is right at the southern end of Portobello Road, the epicentre of trendy Notting Hill. The clientele are cool, the music is cool, the little beer terrace out back is cool, and the huge jugs of cocktails for are decidedly chilled. Main courses include such delicacies as Steak à la Nice, and Goat's Cheese Salad. You can choose from a wide range of sandwiches; roast dinners are available on Sundays.
