Found at one end of the busiest shopping street in Europe, The Tottenham has been quenching thirsts for over three centuries. In the 1700s, this was one of the pubs where prisoners on their way to the gallows were allowed to stop for a final beer. This has given rise to many a rumour of hauntings in the age-old public house so a quick pint here is a must if you enjoy spooks with your spirits... Nowadays of course, the customers consist of friendly locals and tourists rather than condemned crims, and a good range of beers and spirits are on offer, although The Tottenham prides itself on serving both heritage and hospitality on tap.
