Descend the stairs of the Hilton Park Lane hotel and you could be forgiven for thinking you've just been transported to the Caribbean. With warm Latin music and subdued lighting, Trader Vics is the perfect place either for a romantic rendezvous, or just to relax and unwind with friends in a refreshingly laid-back and civilised atmosphere. The bar food is reasonably priced with seafood and barbecue style snacks available for around £5-£10.
