If you want to check out the action at Schragers St Martin's Lane Hotel but feel too embarrassed/inadequate/old for Asia de Cuba, settle for Tuscan Steak. This hip, minimalist eatery is the replacement for Saint M, and is frequented by the beautiful and the rich. However, it doesn't seem to have decided where it lies in the cuisine department, and critics have been divided over the quality of the cuisine.
The food is a fusion of Italian and American, with risottos and steaks nestled together on the designer menu. The huge T-bone steak has become the restaurant's signature dish, and it should be pretty good - considering it costs £65. If you can afford it, Tuscan Steak is certainly worth a look, but you'd be advised to go with a group of friends and share dishes Italian style (portions are big, and this will help keep the cost down).
