Part of Richard Bransons Virgin empire, V Shop is the re-engineered version of Our Price. Rather than having rows of plain old CDs and tapes, V Store devotes most of its space to the latest Virgin mobile phones, which you can pick up and use before you buy. The store has a snazzy interior, but its a shame that the selection of music available to buy then and there is so small you can, however, order just about any title via small computer terminals in the shop. One advantage of V Shop is that it stays open a bit later than most stores, so its good for after-work browsing. Branches on most high streets.
