WDCS arranges for trips to The Azores, Spain, Wales and Scotland to see orcas, as well as to Baja California, Mexico to observe grey whales in their natural habitat. The organization also organizes charity events and helps co-ordinate local events with smaller organizations. The aim is to spread awareness about whales and dolphins, and the laws that protect them. The organisation specializes in research as well as information dissemination on these species.
