This popular chain is a stockist of a fine range of Arabica coffees, teas and hot chocolate. The coffee prices range from £14/kg for a basic breakfast coffee to £70/kg for Jamaican Blue Mountain. It is possible to join the Whittard Coffee Club and save 20 per cent on coffee purchases. Whittard's range of teas is extensive, a particularly good feature being that all Whittard teas consist of 100 per cent of the named tealeaf, rather than the legally required 51 per cent by weight (60 per cent in the case of Darjeeling). An attractive range of fruit teas is stocked, including pink grapefruit, lemon, peach and summer pudding. As well as hot beverages, Whittard's stock cuddly toys, chocolates, candles and Orient-inspired tea and coffee paraphernalia.
