This is a modern restaurant with wooden floors and tobacco-yellow walls, where artists' work is on display and for sale. But you don't come here to sit inside - it's the cute little patio area at the back you should head for. Full of stone muses and vegetation, it is a welcome relief from the busy streets of London on a hot day. The other main reason for visiting is the wine list: drink Champagne and Sancerre at near retail prices. The food is a mix of modern dishes (chicken and avocado salad) and more traditional fare (bangers and mash). The restaurant prides itself on always serving fresh baguettes with meals.
