A blue-blue exterior with frosted waves adorning the wide windows is just a little extra confirmation that this Italian restaurant empire is famous for seafood. Actively owned and run by the adorable but exacting Aldo Zilli, this, one of five Zilli outlets in the capital, serves up starter treats such as jumbo scallops, with dandelion and rocket and a Thai Herb Dressing which you might like to follow with the Seafood Platter for two. Most other seafood dishes, such as an irresistible wrapped Sea Bass Fillet in banana leaf, baked with sliced potatoes, cherry tomatoes and fresh herbs, are worth a try. Within the fish feast-house is the stylishly laid-out Zillibar. The drinks selection is extensive and expensive, but then drinks are brought to your table by a series of very on-the-ball waiters. The atmosphere is lively yet simultaneously sophisticated.
